Day 3: Bank-Safe Use, Security & Ethics
Open the lab the instructor calls out from the slide. Auto-saves to this browser — refresh-safe.
Three labs today. Your instructor will tell you which one to open and when. Each one auto-saves to this browser — refresh-safe.
Classify + redact six items.
Six stand-in items across all four tiers — a PII complaint, an internal sprint retro, a public rate sheet, a TM spreadsheet, an API credential, a regulated filing. Tier each, write the redacted version using the per-item placeholder palette, or mark NEVER. Reveal the answer key when all 6 are submitted.
Walk five scenarios with a partner.
Five realistic scenarios — the 50-complaints paste, the vendor request, the CV stack, the internal Microsoft Teams chain, the 'anonymized' MBA extract. For each, decide together: what's safe to share, what must be redacted, and whether to escalate. Write the one-line rationale your colleague could act on.
Build your bank-safe card.
Three sections: the classification quick-test (5 yes/no questions with an auto-verdict), the redaction move (placeholder palette + notes), and your three reusable redaction templates for the PII-heavy tasks you do every week. Print and export when you're done.
