Lab 4.2

Your own prompt → iterate.

24 + 30 min · solo · spans lunch

Step 1 before lunch: take a real vague request from your week, build a five-part prompt, get a first draft. Step 2 after lunch: three single-knob iterations, then a peer-accept test. The lab auto-saves through lunch.

Two-step lab. Auto-saves. Build your first-draft prompt before lunch on the Build tab. After lunch, switch to Iterate and run three single-knob turns. Tabs survive a closed laptop.

1. Pick a real vague request from your week

From your Day 1 triage list — a 🟢 'helps-a-lot' row. Redact before you type.

2. Build the five parts

Role You are a [seniority] [function] at [place].
Context Audience + constraints + what they already know.
Task A count, a verb, a ranking rule. Bounded.
Format Length, shape, what to leave out. Not adjectives.
Example Paste a redacted past one. Show, don't describe.

3. Assemble. Copy. Run.

4. Paste your first-draft output

First draft only — don't iterate yet. Save that for after lunch.
